Enjoyed 'Happy Days, Sad Memories,' so knew I would like this. An influence for me is Vini Reilly/Durutti Column.

Artists like Explosions in the Sky, who pumped out formulaic releases, made me lose interest in the post-rock genre.

This may reflect maudlin states of mind, but I find it uplifting and life-affirming.

Engaging on every level throughout, so no favourite track.

sven thomas nordlöf We all know that Robert Smith is the Ruler and King of Blueland, nevertheless we must insist on investigitng these regions. My favourite tracks are no 9 ”Everything is fine” and the endinc track ”Bluet”. Sometimes I feel the state is heavy enough to make way for a breathrough., a disharmony can make way for an intstillment of expression where others beat harder. (Charlltte Sometimes; Pictures of You). At the times round the deep bass of dub-techno were paving way for stargaze in the big black!
